Project Manager - Current 2024
All XMS Solutions positions are 100% Remote with potential for up to 30% travel based on client/project requirements.
Positions are for Direct Hire (FTE) roles, not Contract.
As a successful Project Manager, you will be able to work independently to design and implement solutions utilizing industry best practices, in Customer environments and operate as a member of a virtual team. A flexible attitude, capacity for absorbing information and keeping current with industry trends and technology is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Direct communication with client organizations to discover and identify business needs and developer relevant use cases, evaluate and document risks, governance approaches, and complex business processes
· Lead clients in developing policies and procedures related to device management technology
· Implement and integrate software solutions or platforms to meet identified objectives
· Provide technical and business device management consulting services based on client requirements, including:
o Review deliverable in SOW
o Provide accurate estimates for project deliverables
o Promptly and clearly communicate obstacles to client representative and XMS team members
o Maintain a high level of subject matter and technical expertise
Essential Technical Skills
· Subject matter expert with at least three (3) years of experience in managing , complex directory AD, Exchange and/or mail migrations
· Subject matter expert with at least five (5) years of experience direct project management responsibilities including:
· Activity and resource planning
· Organizing and motivating a project team
· Controlling time management
Ø Define activity
Ø Sequence activity
Ø Estimate the duration of activity
Ø Develop a schedule
Ø Maintain a schedule
· Cost estimating and developing the budget
· Ensuring customer satisfaction
· Analyzing and managing project risk
· Monitoring progress
· Managing reports and necessary documentation
· Strong knowledge of MS-Project or comparable project management tool.
· Quest software experience (Active Administrator QMM, Metalogix , On Demand etc.)
· Binary Tree software
· Office365 onboarding
· Azure implementations
· SharePoint Migrations

Preferred Technical Skills:
· Prior Consulting experience
· PMP certification
· Exposure to Microsoft security solutions an advantage
· Experience with scripting or reporting tools to extract and/or analyze project related information.
