Job Description

We are currently seeking a Director of Practice Integration to be based in Foothill Ranch, CA.  The Director of Practice Integration is responsible for sales and clinical integration programs, including the Waterlase Exclusive Trial Program (WETP) and support of commercial efforts of BIOLASE laser systems in North America. This will include partnering with, educating and developing practices to deliver on the BIOLASE value proposition and increasing sales of BIOLASE consumable products and services within the assigned region(s). In addition, the Director of Practice Integration is responsible to co-travel and conduct in-field clinical training of Account Managers to develop knowledge and skills needed to successfully sale BIOLASE technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as a primary trainer for Biolase Education events
  • Train, coach and mentor clinicians who are integrating Waterlase technology into their practices via trials
  • Support training & product integration with Dental Service Organizations
  •  Develop learning objectives and collateral for Biolase Education programs 
  • Execute in-office Dentist trainings and support field sales needs
  • Manage / mentor local Peer to Peer support contacts 
  • Display or demonstrate products, consulting on solutions and value proposition as required
  • Participate in trade shows and other events as assigned.
  • Sales training and clinical competency tasks as assigned
  • Investigate and leverage  company resources to resolve customer and program challenges.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers and participate in meetings and/or other activities -  normal and regular travel may require significant days away from home.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Doctor of Dentistry degree (DDS, DMD or equivalent); and minimum of seven years of successful clinical practice in dentistry. Experience in practicing with dental lasers and training other clinicians in their use is required.
